Testify to what I have heard and seen
I realize where I have given up my voice, my testimony.
Where I have silenced myself, afraid to speak.
LORD, I ask for the courage to testify to what I have experienced,
to speak of you like Job, even when the voices around me may not understand or agree.
Not because I'm going to speak the last,
But because I matter. My story. My testimony.
Part of the larger story of your love.
Because I believe that you, Jesus, want to see full-hearted, messy, broken-yet-powerful love, and I don't want to be a spectator in the game of life.
So, let's go love loudly. I'll speak boldly.
Because of love, for love, in love.
