Step into the Unknown

I have the feeling this is not just for me today: I am reminded of the importance of stepping into the unknown when not everything is clear. We move in the midst of fear from a place of trust. We create, we journey, we take risks, to live fully and vulnerably and bravely and joyfully. Whatever the step is, today, take it.

Take the step when the dots don't connect

Action allows them to

Come together, not knowing whether

Or not what you see is true

Trust your instincts, yet don't be afraid to think

Ahead and partly through

Just know whatever choice you make

Is really up to you

You can’t connect the dots looking forward you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. Because believing that the dots will connect down the road will give you the confidence to follow your heart, even when it leads you off the well worn path.
